Bob Nathan

is the evaluator for

November 2020.

Bob Nathan

One of Sacramento's best known talk radio personalities, his “Dave & Bob” morning show in the 80's and 90's remains the high water mark for ratings in the Sacramento market.  During a 20 year career in radio in the Valley and Bay area, Bob enjoyed success in every facet of the business from on-air, engineering and sales, to station management and ownership. A construction consultant who enjoys building and remodeling homes and commercial properties, Bob served the community for three years as Associate Director of Sacramento Habitat for Humanity, an ecumenical housing ministry helping deserving low income families achieve home ownership. Bob and wife Joyce Scolnick run their own marketing and arts business offering performance and instruction in piano, voice and public presentation.  A commercial voice-over talent and founder and manager of two long running professional vocal ensembles, Folsom Gold and The Reflections, Bob is also a performer, director and producer of local and professional theater, having directed the first ever amateur production of Neil Simon's female version of "The Odd Couple," performed lead and supporting roles in dozens of musicals, comedies and dramas, and is best known in local theater for his portrayal of Groucho Marx in multiple musical productions including his own production of "Groucho: A Life in Revue.”
